Occupational Therapy tailored for you

Assessments and ongoing support for you or your child, to thrive in all areas of life

For all ages

Our Dedicated Occupational therapists (OTs)

At ASG, we have a team of dedicated occupational therapists (OTs) with extensive experience and additional training in sensory integration.

OTs work alongside individuals of all ages to support them to thrive in all areas of their lives. This could include learning, play, sports, socialising, personal care, or managing the home. OT is vast, but the focus is on improving wellbeing and participation in meaningful activities.

We work with individuals of all ages.

The Neurodiversity-Affirming Approach:

Strength-based:

Therapy builds on each child’s interests, abilities and unique ways of thinking.

Support, not “fix”:

The aim is to help children thrive as they are, rather than change who they are.

Respect communication:

All communication styles are valued and embraced. We provide a safe, low-demand space for individuals to feel comfortable.

Meaningful goals:

Children and families set goals that matter to them- whether that’s self-care, play, friendships, or school participation.

“It’s incredibly rewarding to support neurodivergent individuals in a way that builds on their strengths. Bringing my experience as an autism and ADHD assessor into my OT work means I can offer deeper insight and help each person grow in confidence and independence.”

Key Areas of Support

Our support is unique to everyone. Here are a few ways we can support an individual:

Sensory Processing:

Understanding sensory needs and creating sensory-friendly environments at home and in education placements.

Daily Living Skills:

Supporting skill-development and engagement with all meaningful activities of daily living, including personal care, eating, organisational skills, and much more.

Self-Regulation and co-regulation:

Developing personalised strategies to manage sensory overload, big emotions, and transitions throughout the day.

How our Occupational Therapy Services work

Our process can be explained in 5 simple steps, from the flow diagram below:

What we offer

Sensory Assessment

Many autistic people experience differences in processing sensory input (e.g., sound, touch, movement, light). A sensory assessment helps us understand these patterns to support comfort, regulation, and everyday participation. Suitable for children and adults.

Dyspraxia Assessment

Dyspraxia affects the planning and coordination of movement, including both gross and fine motor skills. This assessment identifies strengths and challenges to support confidence, independence, and daily functioning.

Occupational Therapy Assessment

Our OT assessments provide a personalised, holistic understanding of an individual’s strengths, challenges, and support needs, guiding practical recommendations for daily life.

I had a very positive experience with Autism Services Group from start to finish. I made an enquiry about an ADHD assessment and received a call back to answer any of my questions, I then booked my assessment and was guided through every step by the very helpful staff. Thank you!

I recently had an autism assessment and giving I was really nervous and anxious about the assessment the team were excellent, they put me at ease and the process seemed less daunting, I would highly recommend this service to anyone thinking about going for a private assessment

We have used Autism Services Group for both an adult and child combined assessment of autism and ADHD. We would heartily recommend them. We have found the team responsive, empathetic, clear, concise and simply easy to interact with. The process is quite intense, but the outcomes and recommendations were incredibly helpful. We also feel the team were very balanced, thorough and evidence-based. This really helps reassure us of the quality and gives us confidence in using the recommendations and diagnosis. Thanks again!

From the very beginning, the communication and support from ASG before the appointment were fantastic — the team made everything clear, organised and easy to understand, which really helped put me at ease.

I felt genuinely listened to throughout, and the assessment was carried out with care, empathy and without judgement. The conversations felt relaxed and supportive whilst still being very thorough and informative.
