Your Journey to a Combined Diagnosis: What Happens Next
Thank you for taking this important step. We understand that this is a significant and personal journey, and we are here to support you every step of the way. Your payment has been successfully processed, and we are now ready to begin your comprehensive diagnostic assessment.
We believe in providing a compassionate and neuroaffirmative experience from start to finish. Our process is designed to be as clear and supportive as possible.
Why a Combined Diagnosis Matters: The Value of Your Assessment
A combined diagnosis offers a holistic view of a person's neurodivergent profile. Our comprehensive assessment process is designed to provide you with:
Clarity and Validation: It offers a framework for understanding challenges that may stem from both autism and ADHD, which can feel incredibly validating and bring a sense of relief.
Empowerment: A dual diagnosis gives you a clearer understanding of your unique strengths and challenges. This allows you to develop tailored strategies for managing social situations, executive function difficulties, and emotional regulation.
A Pathway to Comprehensive Support: An official diagnostic report is often the key to accessing accommodations and support in educational, professional, and therapeutic settings. It opens doors to resources that are specifically designed to meet your combined needs.
Better Relationships: With a deeper understanding of your full profile, you can communicate your needs more effectively to family, friends, and partners, strengthening your relationships and helping others support you in the best way possible.
The Assessment Process
Our assessments are conducted by experienced clinicians using internationally recognized, gold-standard tools for both autism and ADHD diagnoses, including the ADOS and ADI-R. We understand that neurodivergent presentations can be subtle, and we are skilled in assessing for internally-focused traits and specific autism profiles like PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance).
Child Assessments: For children between 7 and 17 years old, each assessment includes a face-to-face observation session to gain a deeper understanding of your child's unique needs.
Adult Assessments: All adult assessments are conducted online for your convenience.
Clear, Collaborative Reports: The final diagnostic report is jargon-free and is co-produced with your input to accurately reflect your or your child’s unique profile.
