Here at Autism Services Group we create an environment where vulnerabilities are not seen as weaknesses, they are seen as strengths and with the right knowledge and support you and your loved one’s well being, will flourish.

Hello, my name is Billy.
I am a Neurodevelopmental Practitioner with a strong interest in neurodiversity and mental health across the lifespan. I graduated from the University of East London with an undergraduate degree in Clinical and Community Psychology and have also completed a master's degree in Psychological Research at the University of Derby. During my postgraduate studies, I focused on the lived experiences of parents of children with neurodiverse needs, with particular attention to the diagnostic overlap between neurodiversity and mental health.
Throughout my career so far, I have worked with both adults and children within neurodiversity and mental health services across the NHS and the private sector. During this time, I have gained a wealth of experience and further training in the administration, scoring, and interpretation of psychometric and standardised assessment measures which form part of the diagnostic assessment process for both autism and ADHD conditions. I also complete cognitive assessments for children, young people, and adults.
I really enjoy meeting new people and getting to know them in a calm and collaborative environment. I recognise that it can be difficult and overwhelming to meet someone new and talk about personal experiences. When we meet, I will take the time to get to know you, ask lots of questions, and work collaboratively with you to think about what support might be helpful moving forwards.
People describe me as calm, approachable, and easy to talk to. I value learning from the individuals and families that I work with and believe that everyone has important experiences and perspectives to share.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the countryside with my wife and our two very energetic Cocker Spaniels, Lottie and Aella. Aella is named after the Greek word for whirlwind, which she certainly lives up to!
