Meet the Team

Here at Autism Services Group we create an environment where vulnerabilities are not seen as weaknesses, they are seen as strengths and with the right knowledge and support you and your loved one’s well being, will flourish.

Hannah Robinson

Diagnostician, Peer Mentoring Practitioner and Trainee Therapist

I originally graduated with an MSc in veterinary sciences and spent 10 years in genetics research before finally receiving my own late diagnosis of autism and ADHD in my mid-30s. This prompted me to embark on a new career providing tailored diagnostic and therapeutic support for other neurodivergent people, and I now work with Autism Services Group’s multidisciplinary team to carry out assessments and provide neuro-affirming and strengths-based support on a 1:1 or group basis.

I am a trained ACIA and ADI-R clinician with a particular interest in providing personalised and tailored support for clients with internalised (masked) presentations of neurodivergence, and those who identify as LGBTIAQ+ or GSRD (gender, sexual and relationship diverse). I have worked in both the NHS and private sectors, where I also utilise my own lived experiences to deliver training to promote best practice in autism-affirming mental health care.

I am also training as a specialist psychotherapeutic counsellor and have recently undertaken a postgraduate certificate in sex and relationship therapy in which I carried out research into how therapists can better understand and support autistic adults’ intimate relationships.
